Fees and Policies
I charge $160 per 50 minute session, $200 for 80 minutes. I accept checks, credit/debit cards, Venmo or Paypal and cash. Payment for services is expected in full after each session, unless using your insurance plan. I am a member of the Aetna, Compsych, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Healthnet/MHN, Providence, PacificSource and United Healthcare provider panels. If you have coverage through one of those companies, I will bill directly. If you have coverage on another insurance plan and will be using your benefits, I am an out-of-network provider and can usually bill them as well or will provide a receipt for you to send to your insurance company for reimbursement.
It is helpful if you have contacted your insurance company before coming in for the first session. Having as much knowledge as possible about deductibles/copays and benefits makes for a more effective use of time and clearer payment discussions. I will try to assist as needed and will let you know if I am able to bill your insurance company for you as an out-of-network provider.
Cancellations without at least 24 hours notice will be billed at the full hour rate above. Unfortunately, if I do not have enough notice to fill the spot you committed to, I am not able to use that time. Please be aware that insurance companies will not reimburse for missed appointments. If something comes up and you need to cancel your appointment, please send me an email or call me with as much lead time as possible.
